Core Household Form

The Core Household Form is a questionnaire common to a large part of household surveys. It precedes the survey specific questionnaire. This is a list of fairly general variables for which information must be collected during a household survey: housing inhabitants, family ties between them, type of housing, occupations, nationality, education, income, etc. This list is intended to provide a general overview of the variables that are used in a household survey. The questionnaire allows this information to be retrieved in the form of different blocks of questions corresponding to the themes of the different variables.

What’s the Core Household Form?

It is a file that stacks the files of all surveys to form a single file. The complete, non-anonymous data will be available soon at CASD.

An annual weighting is provided with the respective weights of the different surveys.

Weight sharing is considered for people in multi-residence.

The SRCV uses the Core Household Form but in its longitudinal part (renewed by a ninth). %%%%Sharing of cross-sectional and longitudinal weights.
